Alltek surface coatings are applied by approved contractors using specified spraying equipment. The ready-mixed compound is emptied directly into the spray hopper. The key stages during application are masking adjacent surfaces, spraying and smoothing/texturing. Rate of application and number of coats required depend on the grade of compound, type of background and the finish required, but the average rate for a two man team is 200-500m² of single coat per day. Surfaces up to 3m above floor level can be treated without using platforms or scaffolding.
Alltek surface coatings can be applied to most backgrounds including pre-cast and in-site concrete, solid and aerated concrete blocks, brickwork, and plasterboard dry lined surfaces.
Alltek surface coatings are supplied in 25kg plastic packs, 40 per pallet.
